About Us

Enrollment Determination

Students must be deemed eligible for enrollment by an Oak Brook Baptist certified School Counselor.   This process is done through individual counseling with the family.  Determination depends upon the following:

Student academic need

Family support

Student's post graduation plan

Student motivation

At risk potential

Age and/or Credit total

Effort made in public school

Social and Emotional state

Testing Anxiety

An Oak Brook Counselor reserves the right to decline enrollment for any student that may not meet the eligibility requirements above.  Typically students denied may have a greater possibility of graduating from the public school. Students referred by their public school are at a greater chance of being enrolled, since their situation has been reviewed by a certified educator.
 Age Limit

Since our program promotes prevention for at-risk students, we try to enroll students that are school age and up to 22 years old.  Enrollment for students 23-28 years of age is determined solely on Counselor discretion, on a case by case basis.

Students over the age of 28 years old will be referred to a GED program.

Staff

The staff of Oak Brook Baptist are all certified educators of the state of Texas that work on a VOLUNTEER basis ONLY! Because our staff volunteers their time we try to only accept students who would benefit the most from the program. This ensures the goal of keeping student needs first, which results in an affordable program.

The tuition fee charged to students cover leasing fees, accreditation fees, and curriculum fees with Alpha Omega Publications.  Thank you for visiting our site!
