Oak Brook Baptist School is considered a "non-traditional school" by definition according to Texas educational guidelines for home school.  What is a  non-traditional school?  It means that  we offer either a home study or private school program.

Being a "non-traditional school allows us to create individualized programs to help at-risk students earn a high school diploma.  We are proud to be a "non-traditional" school otherwise we would have to follow the same testing and credit guidelines similar to the public schools.  

 
Texas allows "non-traditional" schools to exist and protects any student, that has graduated, from discrimination. Colleges, the Military, Employers, and Technical Schools must accept a homeschool diploma.  It's the law!
